I loved this PDA. I wish this unit lasted longer, because I loved it. I also like the MP3 player and the voice recorder.
The touch screen responds well, the wifi picks up as good as my laptop, and when I set it up with the bluetooth keyboard it is ALMOST like having my own little netbook. I have had 2 of these, and both of them lasted about a year before they crashed. It has a 4 gig hard drive, which is awesome, and it holds so much information.
My only issue with this is a short lifespan. I say almost, because obviously the screen size is small, and not everything fits well onto such a small screen. But I am able to check email, surf the web, and stay up to date on sports, news, etc.
One was still under warranty so I got it replaced, and then the next one crashed a little over a year later. But now I have upgraded to a Palm Treo, and have been happy with it.
The purchasing process via Amazon was very good. The item was very conservated, like a brand new, and working well.
I made this purchase to replace the three year old Life Drive I've been using. I love the device, but unfortunately the one I received was defective and no more items were in stock. Trendsavvy was quick to send me a refund; including my shipping cost. I'd recommend this seller.
It has a 4 GB hard dive and you can add expansion cards and Avanquest and it is a portable computer. This is my second LifeDrive. I've had other Palm PDAs but this is the greatest. There is loads of software for free and to purchase. With WiFi you can pick up signals all over the place.
the palm unots does have a drawbwck in terms of software compatibility and availability, but not to the extend that it can't be overlooked.as it is at the present, I use it for primarily infield presentations to clients, as the Bluetooth and WiFi makes it easy for me to distribute files over a LAN. i admit, i do not use it that often any longer as I used to in the begining, but I do still use it from time to other. i have owned this unit for almost 3 years now, and I love it beyond estimation. the idea at the time to use it as a portable Entertainment unit was appealing too, as beside the HDD it had the opertunity to insert SD Memory cards too, which were a bit more expensive back then compared to now a days. the reason for not using it that often has no relation to the performance of the unit itself, but more because I have 3 Smartphones (Blackberry, IPhone and PPC) attached to my belt at all times, so there is seldom any space left to attach my Life drive to.the unit itself has certain drawbacks, but then again, everything does. In the beginning, when I acquired it, it was primarily due to the size of the harddisk (4GB) which was a great improvement to my HPC with only 128MB shared memory. but ever since My wife got me the IPOD Classic 160GB, the appeal for the Life drive as an entertainment unit has declined. but as a closing remark, just because I don't use the unit that often any longer doesn't mean that I don't love to use it when it does get its turn.
